Launch Night
What an amazing evening!
16 November 2009 will go down as the evening we truly gathered as a village to start something special.
Over 70 villagers attended the launch evening. It was exciting with lots of energy, so thank you all! In particular the Parish Council would like to thank Kelly, Mark and Joel for sharing their views of village life and getting the evening started.
It was very positive with some good insights into the detail that makes a difference.
The teenagers did themselves proud by putting a lot of effort into their video. Well done to Alex, Brandon, Izzy, Olly and Tom. And also to the adults who were there by association (!) - Mike, David B and David C, Geoff, Gordon and Rochelle.
Michelle Seaman from Community First led us through a workshop on what it all means, what the journey will be like and invited comments and feedback using boards around the Village Hall. The consensus? We have enough committee members to get started and lots more volunteers to support them. We are off!!
